Watch our latest vlog on trek to the beautiful Z point of Kemmangundi, Chickmagalur, Karnataka. This is second day of our road trip with office friends to Chickamagalur. On the firat day we went to Bababudangiri. Detailed vlog of the same can be found here: Kemmangundi is around 65 Km from Chickmagalur town. After visiting bababudangir, we travelled towards Kemmangundi and ended our day 1 at Joe;s homestay at Kemmangundi. On the next day early morning we started towards Z point of Kemmangundi. It started to drizzle as we started from Kallathipura. You need to park your vehicle near the Horticulture guest house and walk further towards Rajbhavan. It's just 3 km walk from Rajbhavan road to Z point peak You can also opt for Jeep ride of just 1.5 Km for a hefty price which reduces the walking distance to half. During monsoon season you will get to see lots of leeches on this walking trail. Better to go prepared with shampoo, salt, and slaked lime to reduce leech bites. Walk trail gets more interesting and beautiful after Shanti falls. High-speed gush of wind, Beautiful green nature and company of awesome friends made this trek to Z point of Kemmangundi most memorable one.
